Company.

Early lung cancer detection is one of the most decisive factors determining whether a lung cancer patient survives. The same lung nodule, found at its earliest stage or after a year of surveillance, gives a patient two very different futures. RevealDx exists to narrow the distance between them. We are a patient-first company, and every decision we make returns to one question: does this get the right patient onto the right pathway sooner?

What separates one lung nodule from another is already in the scan, held in features too fine for any eye to resolve. RevealDx builds the technology that measures them. Radiomics, applied to chest CT and trained against cases with confirmed outcomes, turns those features into a number a radiologist can act on. RevealAI-Lung is the first product built on that work. It returns its score inside the read where the nodule was found — no second system, no separate queue, no extra work or procedures added to the day. More will follow, across thoracic health.

Our products.

RevealAI-Lung is a computer-aided diagnostic application that reads the sub-visual radiomic features of a single lung nodule and returns a malignancy similarity score. It is cleared in six jurisdictions and delivered through the imaging platforms departments already run.

We characterize the lung nodule, put the result in the report, and integrate with the systems you already run. RevealAI-Lung is the first medical imaging AI software to achieve reimbursement within the European Union, and is reimbursed in the United States.

Leadership.

Chris WoodChris WoodChief Executive Officer
Chris is a medical physicist with around thirty years in radiology, including a long tenure at Siemens. He founded Confirma, the first company to achieve FDA clearance for automated cancer detection in breast MR images, and Clario, whose workflow software now runs roughly a quarter of all radiology exams in the United States. Both were acquired. He leads RevealDx on the same premise that drove them: give radiologists better tools, and earlier diagnosis follows.
Michael Calhoun, PhDMichael Calhoun, PhDFounder and Chief Technology Officer
Michael founded RevealDx and designed the product and mSI™ analysis. He studied computer science at Boston University, took a doctorate in neuroscience at the University of Basel, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine before leading clinical research at Johns Hopkins and University Hospital Tübingen. He previously founded Sinq Systems and Mindshare Medical. The method RevealAI-Lung uses to characterize lung nodules is protected by U.S. Patent No. 10,255,997.
Lauren Nicola, MDLauren Nicola, MDChief Medical Officer
Lauren is a diagnostic radiologist and chief executive of Triad Radiology Associates. She chairs the American College of Radiology’s Reimbursement Committee, serves on its Economics Commission, and is a member of the ACR AI Advisory Group — which places her at the center of how imaging AI actually gets paid for. She advises RevealDx on clinical strategy and evidence.
David AustinDavid AustinVice President, Sales
David leads commercial strategy and sales at RevealDx. He has spent close to thirty years selling diagnostic imaging into radiology — as area vice president for Siemens Healthineers’ central zone service business, a $275M book, and as US director of sales for Hologic’s MRI and ultrasound divisions. More recently he has taken pre-commercial medical device companies to market, which is the stage RevealDx is at now.
Ryan Brevard, MDRyan Brevard, MDDirector of Clinical Programs
Ryan is board certified in emergency medicine and practiced for over twenty years in Portland, Oregon. He has advised RevealDx on the clinical application of mSI™ for almost five years and now leads clinical programs, working with hospitals and radiology groups redefining their lung cancer pathways around newer technology. He brings the referring physician’s view of what a radiology report has to do to change a decision.

Science and engineering.

The people who build the model, the software and the installs.

Jonathan MatonJonathan MatonDirector of Engineering
Jonathan leads software development at RevealDx. He brings more than twenty years of healthcare technology development — from tiny PACS startups to global enterprise — back to the ground floor to deliver the next generation of early cancer identification.
Brad Krajina, PhDBrad Krajina, PhDLead Scientist
Brad leads clinical research and data science at RevealDx. He is a cancer biologist and engineer who works across oncology and engineering to build technologies against cancer. He earned a doctorate in chemical engineering at Stanford University and was a translational oncology postdoctoral research fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
Erik RyanErik RyanDirector of Implementation
Erik leads new deployments, customer support, and DevOps at RevealDx. He brings more than 20 years of Radiology IT experience, covering installation, integration, and support of imaging systems in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments. Before joining RevealDx, Erik was a subject-matter expert for digital platforms at Bayer Radiology. His goal is to make sure every healthcare organization gets a smooth deployment, responsive support, and a reliable platform.

Medical advisors.

Practicing clinicians who advise on clinical evidence, program design and implementation.

Jay Finigan, MDJay Finigan, MDPulmonary and Critical Care — National Jewish Health
Jay is Professor of Medicine in oncology, pulmonary and critical care at National Jewish Health, where he directs the Respiratory Centers of Excellence and is medical director of the lung cancer screening and lung nodule programs. A fellowship-trained pulmonologist, he treats lung nodules and lung cancer and researches lung cell biology.
Kim Sandler, MDKim Sandler, MDCardiothoracic Radiology — Vanderbilt Health
Kim is Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt Health, where she directs the Vanderbilt Lung Screening Program. A cardiothoracic radiologist and clinician-scientist, she co-chairs the American College of Radiology’s Lung Cancer Screening Steering Committee. Her research combines machine learning with imaging and blood-based biomarkers to improve lung cancer risk prediction and early detection, and she works to bring women’s enrollment in lung screening toward what breast screening has achieved.

Investors and partners.

In August 2026, 4DMedical (ASX:4DX) announced a distribution agreement and a $3.4M strategic investment covering the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. RevealAI-Lung is integrated into the contextflow platform and is operational at clinical sites across Europe. RevealDx is also supported by an extensive network of investors including industry leaders and prominent physicians.

RevealAI-Lung is accessible directly from existing PACS, and it can also take lung nodules from a third-party detection system and return results to PACS. Several imaging platforms deliver it as a component of their own software.
